Not everyone has one of those other accomplishments, though. Most people don’t have a “great” job, only 1/3f Americans graduate college, etc. And I don’t think there is anything wrong with valuing your marriage over your material accomplishments. I do.
Fault of the department either way. Cop was on the job doing his job. Like if a teacher molests a student, school district can still be sued.
Send a really awesome limo to Senior Kelsey Schindl's house on prom night? ;)
Eh, we say we want officers to turn their backs on the overly-aggressive or otherwise bad cops in their ranks, then we should at least take some grateful notice when they actually do, in my opinion.
oh man, he was so pretty. what happened to that guy?
Oh, definitely they're throwing the new guy to the wolves to distances themselves personally ("look, this guy did a bad thing it's not our fault"), but for the purposes of a lawsuit - he just admitted that an officer messed up on the job. I wonder what kind of lawsuit options are available...I hope an aunt or…
Counterpoint: a registry makes gift buying very easy for your guests, and can be doing them a favor in that way
I got some awesome things off-registry. My husband is from New Mexico, and we got some beautiful Nambe salt/pepper shakers (apparently this is a big thing in New Mexico for weddings and I was hoping for it). My hippie aunt I hardly ever see not only came but brought us two adorable, handmade, ceramic decorative frogs…
I'm somewhat impressed that the Chief went on record saying that the officer messed up (the Chief is the one who said that the officer lied on his report, that he violated protocol, and that he had enough evidence to arrest but didn't). Hopefully this will lead to a significant settlement to be held in trust for those…
Great baby; great choice of gin. 10/10.
My IKEA (or any large furniture store) shopping tips:
I completely agree. It's always like, "you shouldn't eat for two, just take care of yourself, eat healthy, etc." but, like, eat what that is healthy? Or "make sure you're staying active and exercising" but then the example "exercises" they give are, like, doing child's pose in yoga. At this point, I would rather buy a…
It is! I'm glad I didn't buy the book, but the app (which keeps track of the weeks) was free so I went for it.
Good. Because I am pretty sure this baby is like, 75% Taco Bell at this point.
I should have clarified - I'm tired of the whole weight discussion. Including "owning" your "new body" or whatever. Every pregnancy article/blog/video/etc. has some variation of either "don't eat too much," "make sure you're eating healthy and exercising!," or "my body is amazing and I don't care that it's not the…
I went. It was exactly like this.
I’m 20 weeks along and I am getting real tired of the constant weight talk in every pregnancy thing ever. The What To Expect app was especially bad (“it’s hard to see yourself gain weight. But remember that you’re doing this for the greatest reason of all” or some shit - at a time when the app recommended you had only…
He's so adorable. And he's a war hero, which is clearly Peggy's type ;). Maybe I'm coming around to it...
