It’s possible the seller knows what he’s talking about, but he certainly doesn’t know how to spell (and I’m 90% confident “aluminum” is abbreviated because he doesn’t know what comes after the “m”).
Airbag AND aftermarket body kit/replacement headlights. I’m not saying there was a front end hit, but...
Everything about the “performance modifications” screams “I have no idea what I’m talking about” and make me bail on this car entirely.
$23,000 Goosebux = $19,000 Flag-emblazoned TP.
If it would cost less than 2k to fix it, I say nice price. I would take it to our family ranch as it could potentially be more fun than our side by sides, four wheelers and lifted golf carts. All the trails are wide enough for our old Z71 that is out there so I see potential rally silliness.
You guys are looking at this the wrong way. $800 buys you:
My head went straight to Boxster after seeing the criteria here. It’s the most joyous automatic convertible you’re going to find, full stop, and $25k is a healthy amount to get one in good shape. Its depreciation shouldn’t be nearly as bad as the Merc or BMW.
Man, these are some boring convertibles. She should get a Boxster or a 996 Cabriolet.
That guy should build a large “Tip Bucket” where as, a grateful ship can toss him a container as a thank you.
We don’t really have one country anymore (and probably never really did), I feel like it’s time to separate the States far more than they are now. Keep a common military and a few other standard bearers, but let the regions conglomerate and have their own Constitutions and Supreme Courts. If one region wants Socialism…
1st Gear: Delusional libertarians who believe that their lifestyle is a product of their own making and not the result of being born in a country where there was already a working infrastructure in place may post their ridiculous opposition here.
Bean counters approve moving all the buttons to the infotainment touchscreen.
This. I regularly forget what I have for breakfast. Forcing the key to stay with the car while it’s running is a Good Idea ™. I accept that some folks are diligent about keeping their keys by their sides at all times. I’m 1 of those folks - most of the time.
These could also be fixed by better implementation. I’ve owned 7 cars with push button start, and have never had any of these problems.
Does anyone actually accomplish this “set it to 68 and don’t touch it again for a year” nirvana that we keep hearing about on these threads?
Start/stop buttons.
Push button starter. WHY do I need this? What problem does it solve??? What was wrong with inserting a key and turning it?
You’re right, I guess I’ll stop doing my job because you don’t like it or whatever.
My miata currently has enough rust to make David Tracy interested in it. But without any mass or torque, I’d have trouble pushing a Changli out of the way.
