You know these people didn’t pay full price for the battery in the first place though right? Its more like you buying a V6 Charger at a V6 price, and them letting you drive off with a V8 with the power limited, and telling you that you are welcome to unlock the full power of the extra two cylinders later if you decide

Isn’t it weird how we all have unique tastes? I love the diversity.

Ok.

So...you don’t like it then?

You’re right it does! It goes well with my apartment, which looks like this, when its clean...

“Like Tesla” might be a smidgen aspirational. :)

I just donated to the cause.

I agree, if the blog post is caring about numbers, they should be including the total costs depreciation over the course of that time.

Not according to the linked blog post. It just says those two other vehicle costs are “scheduled routine maintenance and fuel”.

I’m struggling to figure out a motive for fudging your numbers. Is the company trying to get some kind of venture capital? Yes, they’re heavily invested in USING Teslas, but they probably don’t care about fudging numbers For Tesla. What would their motivation be to lie on a blog post? If it truly was cheaper, instead

Did you know you can hold down the Voice button on your Tesla and say “Submit Feedback” or “Report a bug” and the audio recording of your message gets automatically transmitted to Tesla’s feedback team?

They called it Vegan because “Not Leather” didn’t sound quite as appealing.

I suppose it’s possible that I have a giant blind spot, but growing up in a cold part of the country, in an extremely affluent community, the one experience we all shared was Cold garages in the morning. Everyone I knew had heaters in the garages, but none of them left it on all the time. Only when working in the

Do you think rich people just heat their garages all year? They don’t. My parents have a Tesla and the amount of money they’d have to spend to heat a 3 car garage from -5 to 70 all day just to get into a warm car would be astonishingly expensive..

The car warms up to 70+ degrees within 5 minutes, so it doesn’t use any more energy to do that 5 minutes before I get in the car, or right away when I get into the car.

That is consistent with my experience. During the summer my old EV gets 70 miles, winter it gets 50. Its pretty predictable though, and I just set my expectations accordingly, and rarely need more for my city runabout. I’m very excited about the possibility of switching up to a better range car now that they’re so

I doubt it. Apple and Samsung have some pretty good quality screens. Tesla can control for some things, like the polarity of the sun roof and the glass matching up, but outside of though, its tough.

Most of that would be ok in a Tesla. One of their primary advantages is the supercharger network, and the Superchargers in Hinkley and Brainerd will make sure you get further south in Minnesota even in winter. Ely’s a tough one though. :) You don’t lose more than 30% charge in the winter, but that means the shortest

A /s would be helpful to identify sarcasm.

Please don’t spread this around. Giving people the false impression that Autopilot is more than it says it is could literally hurt someone. We’ve seen people being stupid with Autopilot already by getting out of their seats or not paying attention to the road, we really don’t need to pretend like Teslas are
