Not on Chryslers or Fords, at least not early late 2010 models just blew the air on full until it got close to the correct cabin temp.

They’re definitely hit or miss. 2010 Audis has great Auto HVAC, Chryslers? Worst I’ve ever used.
Do you have one of those Motorola razors from 2004 too? Me too, they are crazy bad at voice recognition.
The fact that car makers haven’t found a way to integrate digital assistants like Alexa into their vehicles to stop me from every having to press a button again confuses the hell out of me. It would be so...easy to do. If I can order a god-damn Dominos pizza with my voice I should be able to tell my car what temp I…
Huh? I’ve been driving a non-Tesla electric for 3 winters...the batteries are perfectly “effective”. They have a range decrease for sure, but I rarely use more than 20% of my daily range anyway so...its fine. My barely gets over 70 miles on a warm day too, so a Tesla with 200 miles would be more than enough.
I have an electric and I haven’t gotten into a cold car in 3 winters. You preheat your car whether or not its plugged in. Its one of my favorite features. Even if it wasn’t I have a touchscreen phone, all my gloves are already capacitive.. aren’t yours?
Compliance car is a stretch. Nissan is the only traditional manufacturer that has put any actual effort into selling their electrics. They sell far, FAR more cars than is necessary for compliance. They’re just a conservative company.
What first-gen electric has a 100 mile limit? Maybe that’s the problem, your friend things it has a 100 mile limit but it actually has a 60 or 70 mile limit.
This is one reason why I was Shocked that Tesla switched from AC Induction motors they used in their other cars to the same magnet motors they’re using in other electrics for the Model 3. Must be a cost issue.
While its not ideal for many, there isn’t really a “next-gen” electric in this range yet, and I think some people will appreciate it. One of my cars is a 2013 Ford Focus Electric with 70 miles and it serves me well every day right now. That kind of range requires a second car with better range for my family, but it…
This monster pronounces Button “Bu-in” AND he microwaves his tea? No thank you.

Have you ever tried buying a “base” car right at release? It’s not possible from any manufacturer. Bought the new model year Audi A6 in 2012, tried to buy a base model at 58K, and they said “well you’ll have to order custom, it’s about a 6 month production wait... but we have this Prestige model here on the lot you…
This is such a BS and predictable article. Musk already announced months ago that the spec’d out version would come out first, just like it did for their other two cars. When you get quoted the vase price of the car, it means Base. As in just the basic car, nothing else. Assuming the base would come out first, or that…
Nah, just a nice Minnesotan correcting himself in a Minnesota nice kinda way.
Yea, I hear making your Facebook private is the number 1 marketing tool for getting your name out there.
That’s the beautiful thing about Sous Vide, you stick it in and turn it on in the morning, and it is STILL perfectly done and juicy when you get home 8 hours later. It doesn’t matter how long you leave it, it doesn’t overcook.

The car is priced at $35000 without subsidies, and Tesla has been repeating that claim so often that if they CAN’T meet that expectation, I don’t think they will be successful as a company. They will fail. That being said, as recently as a month ago Tesla has repeated the 35K Number without subsidy, so I’d imagine…
As soon as they stop building multi-billion dollar assets like factories I’d imagine.
lol, yea, a stubby version of an incredible car for 30 grand less. Fuck them right? :)
The difference between going into space and going into orbit are so astonishingly different that they can’t be compared. It’s like the difference between a paper airplane and a real airplane.
