Wow, an incredibly long winded article about what amounts to someone going on a road trip without a credit card, and a bug in a car’s reward app.
How many years does Tesla have to be around before they’re the center of nothing-sandwich stories like this?

I think you’re misunderstanding Tesla’s strategy. They’re not excluding heated seats because they’re expensive and save them money, they’re excluding them because they’re betting it will push everyone to spent a couple thousand extra on a feature that’s probably installed anyway and costs them nothing to install.

Yea I said the same thing to my brother buying his Audi S5. You know you could buy a Toyota Camry and save $30,000, and pay for gas for the life of the car with the savings. That Audi only makes sense if you keep it for 40 years. He’s an idiot though and bought the Audi anyway, for literally no reason. He even says

*Throws paper in the air because people will literally whine about EVERYTHING*

100% agreed, the nice thing is, in a Tesla they’re always preconditioned so you don't notice cold/hot seats.

“No more than the polestar”...

It has a manual steering WHEEL, the steering is still powered. lol. Its not a Datsun. :)

Tesla’s leather isn’t real leather, its the same fake leather in most entry level luxury cars these days.

There is UV protection on the glass, where does it say otherwise?

So heated Front seats appear to be standard, right now the only way to get REAR heated seats is through the One option package with everything in it right now. They say it is to ease the pressure of a new manufacturing line.

Without the option package you get a solid metal roof, no glass at all. The option includes “A tinted panoramic glass roof” not “Tint FOR your glass roof”

This argument has been disproven so many times that the people saying are just starting to look uninformed.

It runs just as well, maybe a little faster than the old iOS did on my 6S. It was super slow and buggy for a day, and then after a reboot everything was much faster. I have a literal metric ton of apps too. Weird how we have different experiences.

That gave me a chuckle. I would’t say that is entirely true, but I would be more forgiving of an electric car’s flaws because of what it was. Just like someone who might really like the look and sound of a muscle car might forgive lets say a poorly designed interior because they really liked the other qualities of the

I’m glad you found something to make you happy.

Lights and wipers are automatic for the most part, but yes lights can be controlled from the screen when necessary. As I understand it highbeams and washers are controllable on the stalk on the Model 3 just as they are on the S.

My dad points and interacts with touchscreens with his middle finger too. It’s weird.

The Model S and X have been on the road for 5 years with the “only touchscreen” design. No predictions from you necessary. You just have to ask those drivers if they care (we don’t).

If the 16GB phone is cheaper than the 32GB phone and I don’t need 32GB why would I pay more for 32gb?

If I buy a 75 kwh battery, I should be able to use that battery to the full extent of its capability.
