Preach it!

I'm always jumping into threads to defend trucks. Many jalops seem to hate on trucks because trucks. It's like they don't have big V8s, gobs of power, comfy captains chairs, loads of accessories, great aftermarkets. If a car has all those amenities than its a win. But seriously, they hate on trucks because no one

Yeah, because all the guys in Porsche's and Corvettes go to the track every weekend...

It depends on which generation and which model of helix you are driving! Aren't the Tacoma and helix based on the same platform? If you are driving a 2wd regular cab helix, then yes, it will be quite small compared to a 4x4 double cab Tacoma. But a 2wd tacoma is pretty damn small:

I'm honestly surprised how many folks on here consider the Tacoma a big truck. Really? As a 6'2" male, which isn't that tall, I find the Tacoma to be incredibly cramped on the inside, and the bed is almost useless for actually hauling payload. I can't imagine driving a truck that's even smaller. I mean, if you want

I take it you have not spent much time in a Tacoma or T-100, or just don't remember their relative sizes. The T-100 is the size of the first gen Tundra, which is bigger than a Tacoma. If a Tacoma is not a small truck, then what the hell do people want? An El Camino perhaps?

Have you never seen a Tacoma? Or sat in one? If they made them any smaller I don't think a person over 6 ft tall could fit in the damn drivers seat!

Exactly, starting with a 6.4L V8 that has a huge aftermarket and has been shown to easily stand upwards of 1000hp is a great starting point!

A supercharger helps, haha. If you were really into it, you could shave some weight with removal of the back seats, some recaro racing seats and removal of sound deadening material. Acutally, this sounds like fun....

True, but I think the hype for the cuda is way more than for the mustang and camaro, which may play to it's benefit.

Here you go, 2008 rcsb supercharged, 22k (but rwd)

Off the lot it would run you ~$33k plus $5k for the blower, so it is pricey, especially compared to the Ram express with the same specs. Rumor has it there are maybe 5 or 6 2013s sitting on various lots throughout the US. They are getting tough to find in the used market, but I always keep my feelers out. Any year

I like the idea of the SRT10, but getting one that hasn't been used as a burnout machine for 25k miles is next to impossible. I always push the Tundra 4x4 regular cab short bed with the 5.7l (which they stopped making in the 2014 model refresh) with the factory (and therefor warrantied) supercharger. It's a great

I can't imagine I will ever be without a truck. I just love em'! Even if it is sitting in the driveway 6 days a week, that's my truck damnit!

I agree, the bro's are giving cool trucks a bad name, and there is no changing that. That's why I prefer a sleeper truck. I encourage jalops to actually spend some time driving some bad-ass trucks though, they are a lot of fun, and nothing to scoff at. I'll take my truck and my sports car. Best of both worlds.

Try harder, lol.

Yeah, I definitely sound a little bitchy here. I'll work on that :)

So was the B-body specifically larger? I'm not familiar with the different body types that were available...

That is a coupe, but yes, those things are unreasonably MASSIVE!!! I'm amazed at the size of these every time I see one.
