May I introduce you to the Dodge Charger SRT8?
May I introduce you to the Dodge Charger SRT8?
Agree with paragraph one. You make some good points in the rest. I am 32 and I identify way more with gen X than I do my own generation. That said, I don't blame poor working conditions entirely on the older generations, and I don't blame it on millennial laziness. I can say with confidence that in my community…
That's where it get's misleading. Back in the day there was the half-ton, 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks. The payload capacity of each model has increased over the years, but the nomenclature has remained the same. At least that's my understanding.
Homely indeed. I'm getting a CRV vibe from this thing.
So a regular cab Silverado goes for about $35k and a Camaro SS with the 6.2l goes for about $38k. Since the Cheyenne will be a special edition it will no doubt go for a premium, but if they can offer it for less than $46 then I would buy one for sure, pending a test-drive. It would be worth it for a 6.2l in a rcsb…
Holy crap, $43.5 for the base 4x4 model. I might as well buy a damn Raptor! F-that!
Ah, I see, you are being strictly semantic. Since that makes for really drawn out and boring conversations, I'll see myself out now.
Seriously? That is such a weird way to do it. Well, I am off to play on the Ford website...
You're certain, huh? I'm certain you didn't read my response.
Did you price out the Tremor on the Ford website? I don't see a Tremor model option...
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I hear what you are saying. BUT, it is still shortsighted to call a rcsb 2x2 full size large. That's all I am saying. The wheelbase on a rcsb "full-size" truck is ~120-126 inches, which is the same has a access cab Tacoma. The rcsb full size is wider than a Tacoma, but that just makes it more…
Me too, I have looked into the used SRT10 market a number of times (they are really affordable, ~$25k for 20-30k miles) but I am hesitant because of the idea that they have been used as burnout machines for the last 25k miles. I was looking into buying a Challenger SRT8 in January to start building up, but my love of…
Very true!
It is exciting to have an option besides the SRT10. I have been waiting for a new sport truck for quite some time now. The Tremor is cool, but the aftermarket for them is going to be awful because of the ecoboost engine. The Ram Sport (or rcsb rumble bee) is a good option, but I wish they would put the 6.4L hemi in…
Now that's a contribution!
I'm not sure your contributing as much as you think.
Haha, yep. I love my crewcab F150, but love pretty much all other car cultures and subcultures. The worst is when you are talking to other car guys and they refuse to acknowledge the existence of trucks as if they don't have huge engines or something.
So you come to Jalopnik to bash on peoples dream cars? Nice.
Haha! I thought about going back and fixing that... I guess now I have to.
