Wasn’t the Mini E concept from 2011?
Wasn’t the Mini E concept from 2011?
It may take a few days to find but i’ll do it
We’ve reached peak grille area, just before swinging to the opposite: EVs with no grilles.
The F1 is my all-time favorite. As a teen visiting London, our cab drove by the McLaren dealership and made my parents take me there the next day to check it out. I still have the printed photos (remember film cameras?). They are still beautiful and I can’t wait to see a T.50 in person one day.
My experience with FB Market is worse than CL. As a seller, all first responses are the pre-populated “is this available?”, followed by an insultingly low offer in terrible grammar/lolspeak. When shopping, the photos tend to be super potato.
Stereotypes aside, your comment has truth to it. Watch Savagegeese’s review of the Mustang Bullitt. The chassis is pure economy car cheaply designed to maximize profits, heavy, and hampers the rest of the higher performance variants. With as many units as Ford sells, eliminating the lowest base model would allow…
I remember when my family was minivan shopping, the Ford salesman played us an ad where it showed a family going through a drive-thru, highlighting that the Aerostar had sliding rear windows vs. the Astro that had pop-out windows. The ad showed a kid in the Astro reaching out for an ice cream cone and the ice cream…
The fact that people cannot get a price for medical care is why the whole system needs to be burnt to the ground and start over. Knowing prices beforehand will lower prices because people will shop around. Imagine that! Every other industry in the world can provide prices, why can’t healthcare.
Given the Silverado, GM is ready to accept that challenge.
I like a lot of the engineering ideas this truck has - namely the air suspension to lower it for the 99% of road driving this will see as well as making it easier to load and a stressed skin structural design.
I once had to design thermal blankets for a satellite. I wasn’t liking the sheetmetal function in the CAD program so I designed it using a patchwork of triangles. Maybe Elon was spying on me.
The flat glass will act as loudspeakers and possibly trampoline themselves to the point of shattering (but not falling apart, per the demo) given the right resonance frequency. Also, there will be a ton of glare and when you pull up next to one of these at a stop light, you’re gonna get blasted with solar rays…
It’s too bad VAG hasn’t figured out a cleaner way to hide or integrate the charging port though. Too many EVs have a big ol charging port door on the front fender.
Clearly Aston has been bought out by Porsche.
The front end design of ICE cars and EVs are quite divergent. The grilles on ICE cars are getting larger and larger = basically seas of black fake plastic vents. EVs are going for simpler and cleaner front ends with minimal to no ‘grille’.
Agreed.
I plan to game the shit out of AVs. You should be able to get in front of any one of them by merging into its lane even before you clear their front bumper and the AV will slow down to avoid a collision.
It’s perfectly legal and advisable to move into the intersection while waiting for an unprotected left. Just keep your wheels straight in case the texter behind you bumps you. You’re also allowed to clear the intersection during a red before the other direction of traffic starts going.
Ford didn’t need to parlay any of their existing models for an all-new EV. Now every mom can say they drive a Mustang (and just forget to mention the Mach-E part) to think they’re cool.
