I really can’t agree with anything you said.
I would be satisfied with just 2 additional regular lanes each direction on I-5. It is ludicrous that the main artery between northern and southern California is only 2 lanes wide (each direction), which creates a lot of issues due to slow trucks passing slower trucks and just bad behavior that you cannot get past.
But it’s still just a GMC syclone of a Chevy
The popularity of Subies is inversely proportional to its HP
Good list! Also:
I’d like to see a log of cost and hours beyond the initial $500. Seems like spending more on a better example would save David many months of work. I just hope for his sake you can’t get sick from inhaling too much powderized rust.
The pedestrian safety laws that forced everyone to raise the hood heights result in front end designs with a tapered/pursed snout that in general is not attractive.
Whoa, can’t believe an E82 is a commenter on a human forum.
Most cars will forget your last drive settings when you turn off the car, only to force you to press button(s) to set it up again. The car should remain in the last config used since it is obviously what the driver wanted!
The charging cables will not be of robust design and will break near the connector after 6 months due to the lack of proper stress relief.
The iCar is just part of the solution. Apple will introduce walled off lanes of roads that only iCars can use. Only then will you see the “courage” of their AV future.
Thermal breakdown in turbo engines makes a difference too. Mobil 1 did not like that heat in my WRX and it drained out like whiskey from a barrel.
Why are some people compelled to answer the questions when they don’t know the answer? Q: ”What are the product dimensions?” Helpful Amazon Reviewer: "I don't know but it fits in my garage."
Only two pedals too. Bad renders.
Garnish aside, I’d like to see that area stamped in that net shape on the stock model, minus that stupid raised character line that leads to the body panel gap.
In California, it’s technically a usage tax not a sales tax. I’d love to buy cars more often but it’s such a money drain when you have to pay tax on each purchase.
Your point is well taken. If it’s a 30th anniversary, it should tie back to the original. Besides, green cars are coming back in style this year.
