Not surprised at all. I see people in brand new luxury cars holding their phones to their ears multiple times a day. How long have we had blu-tooth now?

well, 8-15% of the lowest six figure salary is $8000-$15,000.........unless you are looking at Tata Motors cars, you are going to run out of new car options fast (even on a lease).

I work at a fairly large town ER, tons of tons of our traumas are MVC’s. Nine times out of ten it’s someone running a red light due to using a cell phone or fucking off in some way and they ram into someone or run off the road. They need to increase punishments on crashes due to cell phone use dramatically. I watched

If you hit a tree, things have gone horribly, horribly wrong. There aren't any trees inside the barriers.

Actually, most people miss the best secret of leasing, simply because they are stuck on a specific vehicle or set of options. If you are smart about it, leasing is incredibly powerful. Basically find cars with extremely high residual values, almost 0 money factors and strong rebates/negotiable prices.

I swore for years I would never lease a car, but when my wife’s (paid in cash) Envoy with 200,000 miles on it that got 15 MPG was starting to have problems I had few options. Expecting whatever car we bought to get around 30 MPG, I knew I could afford no more than $200/mo (I keep a monthly budget and things were

Skip leasing the car, find a used version of the same car that is 1-3 years old with 15-30K miles on the odometer. You will be able to find a vehicle that is very similar to new and you will pay close to, if not less than the lease buy out for the same car. There are a few vehicles that hold their value well enough

Because you are piloting a 1 to 2 ton missile easily capable of killing people.

“Once the dealership sells out of their allocation, they won’t be getting anymore, so they won’t be able to take orders for cars that don’t exist.”

I dont see how this “helps” anyone at all, other than the people at the middle of the list who would have gotten a 2016 anyway. This whole “clean slate” thing makes zero sense. Why not just tell the 2015 people “hey sorry, your car will be a 2016 instead of a 2015, if that isnt acceptable you are welcome to cancel

I am a wholesale dealer. My late model, low mileage cars CONSTANTLY get sold to CarMax through Manheim auctions. I can tell you for a fact, their inventory is no different than any other used car dealer. They get them same way all of us do - at used car auctions. CarMax details them, changes tires and calls its a day.

CarMax appeals to the chickenshit market—too gutless even to negotiate a better price at a dealership. So these suckers, uh, customers pay the delta and think they’ve gotten a good deal. Whatever.

I’m equally shocked that there is a service available at the dealership that costs less than $300.

Biggest dick comment of the day goes to you, sir.

Because mom would put an end to this real quick.

I’m no expert on these things... But the Cozy Coupé doesn’t look like it has a real good Center of Gravity, if you know what I mean, what with the hole in its floor and all. Compound that with a ridiculously high roof, and ludicrously small wheels and there is a strong case for that kid wearing a helmet.

what are you talking about, I totally won a big prize, my name was on the thing and everything. All i had to do was go in and visit the store.
