It’s a sad fathers day, normally I detail his car for him. But this time it’s to prepare it to be sold, as he won’t be driving anymore. He was put in hospice last week.
You could drive it for a year, and sell it on BAT and at least breakeven.
Found this gem of a 1984 Hot Rod mag in my Father’s garage.
Sad day. This is my Dad’s 56 T-Bird 15 years ago, and then how I found it today after sitting approx 10 years. Out of service because of a transmission seal, now it needs a lot of other stuff because of sitting for so long.
The MDX passed it’s first milestone today.
I don’t remember which one of you shared this gem a few years ago, but May 1st never goes by without this song being stuck in my head all damn day. Oh yeah, NSFW.
I saw everyone’s favorite CUV today, he even had the top down.
FFWD to 5:00. Drunk guy flies past a police car, a chase insues. At one point this was 1 block from my house. He drove damn good for a drunk, and almost got away.
Impromptu car show at the nursing home. Went to visit my dad, and discovered this 57 Chevy parked beside me as I was leaving.

Here’s what it looks like magnified. It becomes very acidic when introduced to water. If your car gets covered in pollen and it sprinkles rain (or dew collects on your car overnight), you want to give it a good wash as soon as possible.
My 66 F100 went home today. Back to the son of the original owner. He went to the dealership with his father when he was 6 years old to purchase this truck.
