Yeah, I was watching the tech trailer for CryEngine 3, it does look amazing. I'm amazed with the Maya support, and direct feed to the engine, seems to good to be true.

It's nice to see them integrate Tessellation tech, that is a dream come true for any graphic artist. Now we won't have to cut so many corners, and our work will actually be visible in game.

I really don't see why not.. Retro gaming is still pretty big, and the arcade scene still collects a gathering of people.

Horde mode or possible bots? wouldn't mind giving it a try, but not to keen on playing against the gank crazed 14yr oldpunks that lurk on live.. ;)

I agree.. there's a sense of RP whenever you're "stuck" with a silent protagonist, and I enjoy that aswell.. One of the reasons why Dragon Age:Origin felt so full of life, was that I could actually decide how I wanted my character to react.. something that is really amiss in the new title. It really did feel weird

I wouldn't say you overracted... I mean his silent response speaks for itself.

Yeah no doubt.. It's sadly the way of all games.. accessibility is the name of the game, that sells and that makes publishers happy.. :/

wait.. whaaat uk kotaku, does it have all the same news?

I havn't tried the demo yet.. mostly because I've been afraid of this scenario... being let down by the demo, before the game is even in my hands...

Friend finally managed to convince me to play Planescape: Torment. been putting it off forever.. so spending most of time my trying to make it work smoothly with Win 7.. so far.. all but spell effects are working.. once a spell animation works the game freeze.. :/

Yeah no doubt. =/

Brightness levels won't make the gradient effect go away, itll just change the gamma curve it a little bit.

Yeah, the screen has a fading gamma gradient filter. Supposedly it's a bug from the sun flare that gets stuck. so it's always present, not just when you're looking at the sun, but all the time.

Maybe it'll finally fix the gradient issue with single player.. so it's actually playable.. :/ been waiting since release day to play my copy of AC:B :(

That would be awesome.. you'd never have to buy another game.. you'd just replay the same amazing game, over and over... and be just as surprised and amazed each time... oh what bliss :D

man lil bash sounds like a cool little dude =)

It sounds worse then it is, when you read the report.. The Plea is only shaving of like 6 years of her sentence.. making it 10-30 years in prison, instead of the possible 16-48.. and she'd have to plea guilty in order to get 10-30.. I guess she's not trying to explain her way out of her actions. She knows it's

oh for sure. but when the APB system actually worked correctly. you'd still get pulled into 4vs5ish games where you could contribute, even if you were going at it alone.

Really nice print.. wouldn't mind having that.. too bad most Ts are hella expensive on that site.. with international shipping fees and all, I'm guessing it's around 30bucks for the cheapest ones =/

Can hardly wait. Possibly one of the better MMOs in awhile. Played the beta for a few months, it was mostly struggling with balancing issues that were a cause of the developers decision to not allow headshots, and the somewhat broken APB system that could potentially pit you against 3-4 well armored and high leveled
