They need to make more statue figures.. these toy thingies are just depressing.

I've only read about the enemy level scaling and perk addition. Neither points towards a new leveling system.

I guess I'm one of the idiots..

You mean like, some are so freaking desensitized already that they'll brush it off easily, where as some, can't even grasp how awful it actually is to see someone die that they'll break down?

I'm confused as to what you're point is?

but we're all different.

JRPGs has always had the coming of age tale in it's core, always a 16-18year old kid that struggles to find himself, while struggling to fight the evil in the world.. look at FF8 for instance.. It's a big reason why I felt so strongly for the FFs when I was younger, since I was 15ish when those came out.

I'm sad to see them go.

I can see where you're going with your rage. Just like Activision, microsoft is really working their sequels, which is why some studios fight their way free (bungie, Infinity ward etc).

I was really sad to see that Vagrant Story didn't make the PSX cut, since I consider that one of the greatest games of that era. but I was really happy to see titles such as Flashback from the older days. Really amazing games. It's just hard to see some of the most iconic and greatest games in time fighting over the

The exact same retard level/skills system... lovely... well I guess it's one less game to buy. yay.

I got the sense of Co-op work that was similar to RE5, which was a really nice co-op game.

So... I'm debating whether I should keep visiting Kotaku or not... Personally, I'm really not friends with the new, I'm guessing Gawker, design of the website... feels like a pretentious douchie look, that any freshman graphic design could've come up with.. it just complicates a good and simple concept that was the

@P.McDank: Yeah, It's nice to see a developer make THEIR game, instead of just selling out and trying to please the casual crowd.

@Tacticalspoon: hmm, I'd agree on that when it comes to levels, and all the enemies you face there.. but I've yet faced a boss that didn't 1shot me.. It does feel extremely cheap to have to re-work the entire level, only to face a boss and get 1shotted before I can even begin to work out a strategy to kill him.

@DJ Schway: I've only played a single game, that hasn't mirrored a side. That's just how you work.

@SaintDragon: You should give FF12 a try, i personally think that's the best overall jrpg.. but then again I heart pretty much anything Matsuno does.

@bjorked: Nomura? he just had the graphic department of 13, didn't have any other part, since he's leading Versus and was helping out with Crisis.

@Ursus-Veritas: It's possible parents wanted their kids to learn in an environment that seemed fun and accessible, and where they might pick it up, without trying to hard.

that was just sad.. They've actually spent a lot of time making that.. modelling, textures, setting up the pacing.. they probably put an intern on it.. but still.. that could've easily been a months work.
