The biggest QA team in the world won't do anything to prevent bugs if there are not enough developers, or if the developers aren't given the time to fix them. I would wager many of the issues people are encountering were reported before launch, and management pushed ahead anyway.

Writers write from what they are familiar. A video game has many hands in the pot. If a gay character were to be implemented in a game, it would be because the writer is gay and the other developers share in their vision.

I can't tell you how upset I was when I booted up the next gen version of ACIV only to discover that the only real improvement they seem to have made was to make all the textures look like they're going to give me a splinter

Had a look at the linked website:

A little message from Akihiro Yoshida, containing a bit more info:

"That's definitely you"

wait...what were we talking about?

You are right, I wasnt suggesting it was a fair situation, just the way the industry is going now. 5-7 years ago you would never seen AAA titles pumped out at the rate they are by some of these developers. it has created unrealistic expectations

If it's rare, unique or endangered, chances are, they'll be a human ready to eat it.

Hey Dyze, I'm still around no worries :). Thanks for the review of that controller. I never knew the buttons were analog for the braking and gas. That's pretty cool. I recently went to a friend's house who is a collector and had a negcon. He loved it too.

One reason MH never took off in the states is cause they don't release it on platform people play online. Where is MH for ps3, 360, or PC?

Holy crap, don't do that to me! I read the headline as The New Voice Of The Joker KILLED AT Comic Con.

I really want Thief to be good. I really do. But this is being developed by a studio whose last game borrowed more from a lesser series than from its previous games. And now they're on to Thief, which is... well, I mean, why not let me use the rope arrow wherever I want? Why not let me... y'know, have a sequel to

It's not the gamer mentality, it's a specific mindset of males. Gamer doesn't need to be included.

Don't relieve yourself in public.
