Older cassettes are nostalgic and cheaper than buying older vinyls. Of course they don't sound as well, but if you're not too much of an audiophile, the experience is nice enough.

RE4 had DOF, ambient and dynamic lighting, and specular highlights all over the place.

Well, you probably weren't playing the GC and Wii versions at 1080p, so you couldn't readily pick out flaws in texture clarity. At the resolution you'd have been playing them on, they're absolutely fine.

On top of the resolution increase, you get double the framerate. =]

Both 5 & 6 aren't as good. RE4 had better enemy interaction, and didn't force co-op. I also firmly believe it had smoother control. It had a better campaign than both, despite some pacing issues, I feel.

Bayonetta is owned by both Platinum and Sega. As far as I know, Sega is co-producing the game with Nintendo.

Candy Crush is a fun little game. While it seems a bit cruel and unreasonable at first, it actually isn't and is very understandable. They're devil's advocate now in order to save them time and money later. Though, for some reason it does feel a little "try-hard," with them not having owned the trademarks yet. =]
