I considered that, but I feel you needed Eden to beat the game without relying on luck/prayer. I loved everything about that station: 2 secret GFs (which included leaving and returning to the zone), hidden in the corner of the map, puzzles a plenty, and an actual sense of punishing (but fair) difficulty.

I get the reasons most people hate 8, trust me. At this point in my jaded life, it’s one of my only opinions left that I actually care about. IT HAD A FLOATING UNIVERSITY/AIRSHIP FFS

You watch your mouth when you’re talking to me, I know it’s unpopular opinion but 8 is my favorite tied with 9. I don’t care if everyone in the world thinks I’m wrong, I’m right.

I’m pretty sure it was/still is. I seem to remember that Eden had 2 modes for summoning, the full shebang and a shortened animation w/ less damage potential. One of the only ways to break the 9999 damage limit in that game.

VIII’s summoning animations were so over the top, hard to choose! Great list! I’m sure XV is going to have some that will qualify for future compilations.
