A once-great franchise reduced to relative mediocrity.

“playwall”  first time I’ve heard that.  Seems to fit really well.

Pointed a knife inside a closed car. Must be some magic knife he could have thrown through the glass.

The fact that they’re leaning heavily into the whole service aspect is what’s pushing me to not buy this one. I’ve bought all of the previous ones and even have the collector’s edition for FM2 which wasn’t even sold in the US and I have the Best Buy demo disc for the first one.

It’s a shitty situation, but it could be said they haven’t had a hit in 10 years.  I think there was talk Deep Silver might shut them down years ago.  With a streak of losses that long, getting shut down seems like an eventuality, regardless of how scummy the publisher is.

And kind of hard to buy back a car you don’t have anymore.

preparing for the end of Windows 10 support which is supposed to happen in 2025.

known as “Elon mode” that eliminates a so-called “nag” that normally prompts owners to keep their hands on the steering wheel.

3rd Gear:  Was it a Windows 11 update?  We found out yesterday we’re getting migrated to 11 next year and it might cause headaches since all updates came through out technology team after basic testing.  Now that’s over and when MS pushes an update, it’s going through without being tested.

Being after hours, I’m guessing all the people that actually work on the cars were out of there on time, so this doesn’t surprise me much.

The idea hurts my head the more and more I think of it. How about people going to the lake for a weekend/week. You might be able to have public transport to the major places, but say like in Minnesota, like 90% of all those lakes would no longer have anyone go there. So you take public transportation to a lake, wait,

No amount of realistic public transportation can sustain a ban on private cars, unless you ban living in rural areas as well and move everyone to the city.

I seem to not be able to load more comments on Jalopnik.

Doesn’t it seem lazy, or worse, that they’re using the same image thedrive used for this story?

Expecting a dev to tell the truth?  How dare people!

Thanks.

Know what else is bizarre?  Seeing someone talk about GT3 race cars and twist it into stock production cars.

I was thinking about IMSA while reading this. I kind of had the impression that NASCAR is a bit lax on penalizing driving that leads to an accident like this. I know they have that whole “rubbin’ is racing” thing to live up to, but maybe it’s time to back off of that in the name of safety.

Large shark fins are the answer.

Ban driver’s named Ryan.
