Like they said in the article, this tax is going to be much more than people driving gas powered cars would be paying. One could argue that with the added weight of EV would result in more wear on the road, but double or more the taxes?  Rough estimates for me, I probably pay around $100 in tax on gas I use in a year.

Not always.  Just on the drive in this morning the talk show I was listening to on the radio was talking about taxes and how they went up drastically for one 3 months after they bought the house.  Another said his went up this year based on some crazy number he said he’d never be able to sell for.  He was starting an

Did you post this to the wrong article?

I thought their rep was pretty tarnished with that whole security cam fiasco that was storing people’s video when they said they didn’t.

How in the hell did the writer come up with “dozens” ? They don’t even make a dozen a week.

If I could afford a low mile EV, I wouldn’t hesitate.  Free charging at work and they just doubled the number of spot, and already they’re all taken by the time I leave.  Thankfully I work early enough that there’s no one there when I come in.  Also I recently noticed Tesla superchargers at the grocery store I go to,

I’d be happy to just get a stable 1080p so I can enjoy Baldur’s Gate from my couch.

Something I was left wondering after watching the video about the fuel pump. Couldn’t they use an air pump to pressurize the tank to feed the engine or is that not feasible for the pressure needed for that to work?

So that early May to late July price hovering just over $3.50 was a while ago?

The only real issues with the GTO was parts availability

The death of modest FWD coupes that aren’t too expensive or too cheap. So glad I flew across the country to get my used Accord to get a few more years out of it before the rust takes over.

Someone should dig some tunnels and they can get around all the traffic that way.

Nooo... Let them keep their testosterone substitutes. And besides, how would we know who we should be surreptitiously laughing at without the obvious overcompensation indicators like these?

If it was just the name, I’d agree.  But if a burger joint started up and they had goofy daily special burgers for a good price, I’d certainly be trying it out.  There’s been quite a few up on that board that I’d be trying out that most places wouldn’t touch.

Same.  This article came across as being shocked that 2019 money isn’t worth the same thing in 2023, seemingly not accounting for inflation.  But then I saw the mileage.

I’m all for better density and give me a smaller battery for less weight/cost.

But there’s more to RAM usage than just textures.  Throwing split screen into it is a big hit.  You’re not going to lower the res on textures and be good.  I also don’t think they have all that high of res textures all over anyway since it’s almost always seen at a distance.

There certainly is. The res isn’t the issue here. The S is down 6GB of RAM (and slower) compared to PS5 and Series X.

I think it’d be less than the hate mail they’re getting for not getting the game at launch with the PS5 because the S is causing issues for devs.
