I don’t see this being a free charge. Maybe for 6 months after you buy it, or something. But I feel like the dealership wants to buy into this knowing they’re going to have EV inventory and want chargers on site for them for convenience’s sake.

*buys electric car, goes to dealership a week later to charge

Having chargers at the dealership seems like a bit of a stretch to “forcing” people to go there.

How long has that damn sign been broken?

The one I’m driving at any moment.

Beliefs overrule reality.

Google maps is showing my normally 20 minute drive to work would take almost 2 hours by bike. This includes a significant river valley, so there’d be a long stretch of it uphill. So add to that the change of clothes, shower and dealing with winter weather and other not so nice weather, I’d say it’s not an option.

EV makers proving that the energy that powers their electric vehicles is coming from clean sources.

It gets even stranger when you find out there a, I think, Ramsey county sheriff who live streams his patrol on youtube.

It was inevitable because you’ve got 80% of the market.  Once more people join the pool, that share is going to go down.  It’s kind of a non-story since they’re still selling more cars than they did prior.

1st Gear

What do you replace the 8 hubcaps falling off with in the remake?

I’m pretty sure they also limit (if not completely cut) throttle when the brakes are used.

Sigh.  I wonder if they’re still doing interesting things with the Camry, like a 300+ HP V6.

How is it pandering to us when I haven’t seen a single comment agreeing that it looks great.  Not just here, other sites too including multiple threads on reddit.

Seriously.  I see headlines about how great it looks.  Seems like an odd thing for so many sites to point out in the title.  I’ve yet to see a single comment on those articles agreeing that it comes close to looking great.

This.  Coupe.  Gone.  V6 gone.  2.0T gone.  Anything related to being sporty, gone.  Unless you consider the “Touring” trim level, which seems to have no impact on the driving and is just extra interior tech stuff.  Want a sporty Honda, hope you like the Civic.

There may be a little bit of something here, but I don’t think it’s as nefarious as you suggest. Maybe they just don’t like their name. Seems it’s Robert, but what if it was something like “Rudolph Jessup.”

This whole thing just feels like people winning an expensive prize and complaining that they have to pay taxes on it.

I don’t have a problem with them running ads. My issue is that they make so many different ones that I never see the same ad twice. Make a few and run them for however many months and hire the people you need to straighten your shit out so they aren’t under threat of losing their license in multiple states.
