According to my quick google search, F150s range from 79.9 to 86.3 inches.  The Ranger is 77.8.  2 inches doesn’t seem “much narrower” to me.

Thanks.  Of all the safety features to include, not including that one puzzled me.  I wish people didn’t rely on it so much and treat it like a replacement for actually looking instead of using it as an aid but I do still wish I had it.
