As a Honda Accord owner with a camera for the passenger side, I’m all for it.  Love it in fact.  Much wider angle and I really wish I had one for the driver’s side.  There’s a exit/merge I use daily at such an angle that the mirror doesn’t cover where I need it and looking back doesn’t work either because of pillars.

So after 3 years she must be dead by now.

Right.  The takeaway I get from this is that it shows people are willing to do the job for $18 but others expect almost double that for the work.

Baby Viper wheels.

Yeah, that irrationally drove me nuts too.  Never understood why they just didn’t call it a next-gen Xbox until the name was announced.

Yeah, it’s been a few years. I think I recall mention of force feedback, but I think I just assumed it was a mischaracterization of the trigger rumble, either by MS themselves or the media reporting on it.

Huh.  Never had a problem with anything I plugged in.

Yeah, I can see that.

Supposed to get?  I don’t remember anything about that.  It did get the trigger rumble which worked well enough in Forza, but I either stopped noticing it in later games or they just didn’t bother using it anymore.

I think the haptic feedback will better since it replaces the rumble, because rumble was rather worthless.  The reactive triggers I think will just be a novelty that will wear off quickly and we won’t notice after a while, or cause finger strain if the resistance can go too high.

It doesn’t.  They goofed when they wrote this.

Or follow the MS naming system and just skip numbers for no damn reason or call it a 7.234 for some reason.

not bolting fins onto the front of the console that block access to the USB ports. Looking at you, PS4 Pro

I care than it doesn’t have a rounded top so I can put stuff on it if I want to.

Just leave it plugged in then.

I think it’s a very vocal minority. I mean, Sony said they didn’t bother because they had usage metrics and it didn’t make sense to include hardware or spend time developing emulation to do it.  I think MS said the same thing at one point but changed their mind later.

As someone who’s only been gaming since the Atari 2600 days, I loved this generation.  At least on the PS4.  I’ve certainly bought more games this generation than the last.

Like the PlayStation 4 Pro, the PlayStation 5 reads physical media via a 4K Blu-ray drive.

How many automated driving vehicles do they sell now?  Zero?

Maybe they should spend more time testing the dummies.
