Waze is, bar none, the best smartphone nav app ever created. I was overjoyed when I heard they were doing a Windows Phone beta. I was ecstatic when I was picked for the beta. Now that Google owns Waze, I'm worried that WP development will stop

I use Waze every time i get in my car. It has been immensely helpful. Not to mention it's a ton of fun to try to rank up in the standings.

THIS THIS THIS THIS!!!!! Fuck everything else. Waze allows you to tag cops, potholes, stopped vehicles, all with a fun, intuitive interface. Fantastic directions, a nightime/daytime UI that changes with the time of day, it kills everything else easily.

i swear by waze. i drive across state lines a few times every week (okay — i live in new england, so it's not that big of a deal) but waze has gotten me out of some traffic jams, near-misses with road debris, and best of all, cops. logged over 30,000 miles in the year i've been using it alone. will continue logging…
