I might like the new look, except that the colors are completely washed out. It doesn't pop like it used to. I think it would look really crisp and dynamic with some brighter colors.

Is it so much to ask for that the graphics be more on par with 16-bit games like Chrono Trigger or Monkey Island (legitimately gorgeous pixel art) instead of Atari-era blobs of blocks?
