To me, the old version looks like an animation cel, and the new version looks like a watercolor painting. It's definitely a different feel, but it seems like an improvement to me.

No kidding! Besides the questionable color palette change, everything about the new version looks better to me. I like the light effects, and the added texture for the water on the beach does a world of good.
Especially when the arguer apparently stopped their instruction before Geometry.
Stereotyping half of the country. Keep it classy.
Ah, slow cooking! Yes, that's excellent.
I guess I need to look into what braising is... :)
Of course you are.
You win this thread.
Interesting that NBC skipped over that little detail. Because it just WOULDN'T MAKE SENSE for lack of parenting to be the real problem, would it?
I have a hard time believing that that's the legit audio. It must at least be auto-tuned.
Good idea in concept, but the beef suggestion doesn't make sense to me. In what world would a boiled piece of beef substitute for a grilled one? Wouldn't substituting boiled for grilled result in, at the minimum, a less tasty meal?
But given that you're only consuming ~1 mL of it, vs liters of water per day, sounds like that is about equivalent.
I am of Italian descent. The most bothersome thing here for me is that apparently Japanese people think Italians have blonde hair. I'm not offended, but I don't really get the humor or appeal of the ad either. It's just silly.
This argument makes me sad.
Given that it's an additive in municipal water supplies, fluoride probably isn't dangerous to swallow in small amounts. However, the safety of fluoride is controversial to some. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_fluoridation_controversy
That took #1 in this article. Good catch.
Actually, I can't imagine this doing anything but good for Glee. Since it's getting them in the news, it may get them some extra viewers. Two types: those who want to see how they use Coulton's song, and those who think "Oh, Glee still exists? Lemme check in on them."
I could also see them using the gun to further their point, in the sense of "live by the sword, die by the sword." Trying to send the message that no one is safe in a country that is armed.

Yeah, I don't get your point either. Of course some of the military defected in the Civil War, mostly the military that hailed from the South. Which, surprise, left the sides relatively evenly matched in personnel. Off the top of my head, both Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson were among those defectors.
