You mean not being any faster than a VW GTI despite the on-paper specs being superior?

Yes. I'd prefer they improve it rather than bring the 2.3L, which I'm thinking will feel more like a diesel.

Tiny turbos are still something like 18 lbs. each. Don't make the misconception that because the turbine and compressor are smaller and lighter that the housing they're in isn't.

Again, that's the theory. We still need to see whether it pans out, because it's down to engine design. People were all hyped up about the Genesis 2.0T when that first debuted, but that engine was a piece of shit and the car never made good on any of the promises that turbocharging was supposed to bring.

People said that about the Genesis 2.0T, but that never panned out.

Bro, you know how to use google bro. Bro, please download spec sheets of all the aftermarket turbos offered on the market, bro. Bro, I'm sure you use your bro-resources on bro-forums, and they should tell you everything you need to know. Bro.

Brah. Brah. Do you know how much a turbo weighs brah? Do you have a brah scale to weigh the turbo, brah? Well I'll tell you what, brah, turbos weigh between 20-35 lbs. You know what I'm saying, brah? That's nearly 10% of the weight of the entire engine brah, then you gotta think about how you're going to mount it and

So the 2.3L doesn't have to bring anything more tangible to the table? Unless the use of the engine is accompanied by a broad increase in power and/or increased fuel economy, why would you ever pay more for something that is more complex and likely to break? The V6 is proven.

Once you add the associated plumbing for the 4-banger, not to mention the huge weight of the turbo itself, the weight difference isn't really that huge. I guess it's not really surprising, but the biggest misconception I've seen in car circles is that everyone assumes that a 4-banger with less displacement= less

Such displacement based taxes do not exist in the US. The US is the Mustang's largest market. So the 2.3L has to bring something more tangible to the table.

Two things:

The question is whether or not any of the OEMs care. I don't think they're staying out of the BEV market because Tesla holds a patent on some sort of special sauce, they're staying out because they don't see a business case. Having patents suddenly released doesn't fix that issue, and it doesn't even necessarily lead

clear bra?

EV bikes make more sense than EV cars. Power to weight is purely in the advantage of bikes, and the simplicity of motorcycles means you aren't dealing with as many paths of energy drain (including HVAC). It is far more possible to get both good range and good power out of a EV bike than a car, and at a price point

If there is one thing I can criticize about Halo 4, it's that the music did not have the impact of the previous Halo games =/

the '88 911 is sick!

That's not what the released documents and facts show.

He's not. He's actually at the very bottom of the engineering management structure

Nope. I'm a design and release engineer at another company (similar job to the engineer at the center of this mess), and I'd say this was mostly DeGiorgio's fault.

DeGiorgio was said to be very upset during questioning by congressional officials where he said he did not remember making that change. But he gets repeatedly singled out in Valukas' report.
