I haven’t read Iron Fist in the comics since the early 1980s or thereabouts. The IF I remember was a fun, cool character - he was a badass with a humanistic/Zen center, with some fish-out-of-water humor arising from the culture clash between K’un-Lun and ‘80s NYC.

That, god damn it that, he kept saying I’m the Iron Fist like it should mean anything to anyone outside K’un-Lun. He was naive beyond anything probable.

Cept of course the pure determination that saw him undergo daily torture in Kunlun and earn the position of Iron Fist, making him the only NMCU hero who actually earned his power.

Agreed. But there were other problems plaguing the first season. The fighting by Finn Jones wasn’t great. Some of the stunt work was terrible. Some of the acting , especially by Jones was off. Maybe was it more of poor writing, but Danny didn’t come off like the great superhero fans of the comics know him to be.

But in Star Trek: Discovery, we’ll find out why the Klingons got their forehead ridges...

No, my cellar. It’s dug in a ley line mountain side. Full size 10.000, medium size 5000 and small size portraits 1000 a month. I think he is one of our bargain passport photo size customers, 100 a year. Check out our yearbook group rates, you’re never too young to start.

Farscape is easily one of the most underrated science fiction shows of the last 20 years. In fact he might have taken more lessons from it on showing how a group of dissimilar people become a family.

Just saw it last night and I absolutely loved it. Best part though is the Porsche.

You REALLY rather not, there were like two episodes I actually had fun with, the rest kind of felt like it was pulling teeth.

So, just to be clear, I don’t have to have inflicted “Iron Fist” on myself to be able to watch - and get - The Defenders, right? Because if I have to, I will, but I’d really rather not.

Before I even read any of the comments.

That’s a very interesting way to put it. So basically, they ought to put themselves under the microscope, to make sure they’re seeing what they’re doing from other points of view that don’t have the benefit of insider production discussions?

More movies should do that.

You know we all mocked Marvel for their excuses about it being complicated to do Black Panther in the same breath they announce a sequel to Thor which involved elves, Asgard and various fantasy realms. And honestly they deserved being so clueless as to literally say those things side-by-side. But in moments like

What’s up with Gerald Butler? This guy is a charismatic actor and he does garbage- almost exclusively. I don’t get it. Why can’t this guy land a quality movie?

Yes.

Yeah. In particular, I get the feeling that his worthiness is tied directly to the compassion he felt for the refugees who were murdered by the fire goblins and his desire to avenge their unnecessary deaths.

Ok so Odinson became unworthy when he was told that Gorr was right and that he along with all the other gods are not needed. In short Thor believes that he is not needed and shouldnt be doing what he does as Thor. With no purpose he has no worth. Volstag on the other hand has found a deep true purpose and is now
