I completely agree, the actor playing Amos just doesn’t muster the level of dangerous that Amos conveys in the books. (I STILL say Ryan Hurst would have been the perfect casting for that role). Also Holden comes off as way to young for me, needed a bit more mileage.

yeah I really miss Frontier Defense, was probably my favorite mode to play adn I’d love to try it with some of the new stuff.

Also I play exclusively Bounty Hunt. <shrug>

Central US, PC and I rarely have an issue EVER getting a match. I think the longest I’ve waited is 3-5 minutes.

That’s what I want to see. Kathryn Bigelow do a Boba Fett/7 Samurai with all Mandalorians. THAT wouls be a bad film. (We don’t need no stinking jeetai!)

Posted why Quasar is appropriate.

Yup original Quasar not only from Wisconsin but my hometown Fond du Lac. If I remember correctly created by Mark Gruenwald who is from Oshkosh WI, a stones throw up the road from FDL Always wanted to meet him ask about that, making Quasar from FDL.

No apology needed, it’s always good to hear the perspective of those lived it and your post was both eloquent and enlightening. I truly hope you continue to heal and recover well.

He’s signed up for directing the film adaptation of Influx, great book if you haven’t read it. I think he’s going to get the stylized wish he wants as that story just screams it and his directing style will mesh really well.

I agree completely, (I didn’t like Kyle Chandler for Cable at ALL). But Tim Miller on Influx would be freaking incredible! This could be a move for the better all around.

My kid brother’s Ruxpin Acted along when I put Metallica’s kill ‘em All in. Granted he looked either posed or was having a grand mal seizue, but it tried hard to act along to that tape.

Thank you thank you THANK YOU!

The author brings up a valid point. I agree with you 100% I enjoyed the Avengers even with SOME of the same flaws. The issue here is the film firmly sets up their joker character within a defined parameter, the texts seem to completely come from outside that after so working so hard to define him and importance of

No joke my nephew was doing that at my dad’s wake Thursday. He figured the funeral home was the most likely place to find those.

Even with the similar voice I could never confuse Emily Hampshire with Taryn Manning. Something about Taryn Manning I just don’t like but can’t say what.

No Emily Hampshire isn’t on OITNB, not sure who eric_tan is thinking of but it it isn’t the actress playing Jennifer Goines.

I rolled up a Dwarven Priest of Hanseth (He eventually went Cleric/Fighter). So here I am playing a Dwarven priest devoted to Drinking, war and travel (I actually sat there drinking Jack Daniels during the game to “get into character”.

Running a D&D 3.5, 3 person party the NPC mimic they had rescued from slavery to a hill giant. They a routine when bandits appeared. They’d cooperate, get the “chest” down and when the mimic(Fred) whalloped the first bandit to get close the party would attack and kill the bandits. Did this once a week for 4 sessions.

I was thinking the Taliban is a better example. Other governments love pointing out the US practically created them and Russia in the late 90s was screaming about them and Al-Qaida while the US trundled along ignoring the monster. Just because Manhattan becomes a threat would be a far conclusion ANY other country

History strongly argues otherwise.
