I had too many issues with iTunes and recovering data from my device to continue using iPhone. Maybe things got much better but I’ve had zero issues with Android in that regard. If I dropped my phone in a sewar today I’d be sad about the loss of hardware but wouldn’t be concerned about my stuff at all.
