I blame gaming fatigue. I’ve been gaming HARD since the NES. I would say the last “hard” game I finished and truly truly enjoyed thru the entire thing was Ninja Gaiden Black. Now on the 360 I had tons of fun with GTA, Condemned, Bioshock, Halo, etc. as well. But I could already feel my inner gamer dwindling.

For me games started to feel like work more than just simple fun. MGSV is another great example of a really well done game that simply no longer brings me joy. Feels more like a chore.

I think some of you are too quick to blame the kids and other life stuff. Truth is I’m 35, single, and have lots of free time....yet my gaming time has crawled to a halt. Played the hell out of my 360, but by the end of that gen I was already burnt out and still haven’t grabbed an Xbox One and have no desire to do so.

Screw Crossfit too. I lift heavy weights, compound exercises, and do HIIT cardio via swimming.

No clue why people run. It doesn’t even seem like our bodies are meant for running long distances. Sprints/HIIT Cardio are one thing, but when I see legit runners I just shake my head.

Amazingly enough just last week I was spending time with a friend that had been in a horrible marriage for 9 years. The list of fucked up things this guy did was scary, and the straw that broke the camel’s back was waving a loaded gun around her and their son.
