Hell the movie cost like 130 million. I bet Marvel would have just stroked them a check for that amount just to get the rights back. Why go thru the stress of making a movie and have another flop under your belt that diminishes the studio as a whole?

District 9 was my favorite for a long time but I actually liked Chappie just a hair more. Bottom line I think he’s a great director and look forward to all his projects.
