Said this already, but I unashamedly love the Neon SRT-4, aka "the worlds fastest shitbox". Yes, I know it's based of the horrid Neon. And yes, they do have a ricer sigma that is only matched by the Civic. But I still love them because;

VVT adjust how early and late the valve opens by rotating the cam shaft a certain degrees. VTEC Opens the valves (lift) longer, deeper, everything, you name it. i-VTEC has VVT built into it. It's worth noting that VTEC style systems are actually not that common at all. Most systems will simply change the cams phase angle in relation to crankshaft angle. VTEC actually uses a completely different cam lobe which can be sized according to the engine speed and efficiency.

I think this is one of the times where we can confidently say "the aftermarket will fix it". Bummer that they didn't do headlights as they were on the original concept, but no biggie IMO.
