As much as I hate to admit it, that's a loosing fight, I'm afraid. With the rise in numbers and simplicity of electric cars, even hybrids, manuals will stop making sense anymore. Yeah, the IC engine will live on, and so will the manual, but for a very small/pricey subset of the car population.
