I thought it was so so. Watchable, but generic. Pretty much a higher budgeted riff on Upgrade. A really bad choice was to have one character literally explain the twist in a Monologue, before showing it. What the hell? "Tell, then show"?
Surprised they really went to the forest to shoot this, because if I remember correctly there are like roughly two branches at the edge of the frame.

There is a scene in the Chevy Chase movie where he looks into the mirror while eating and is witnessing the food going down into his stomach, a sight that makes him throw up. But it's not really further elaborated on, it only remains a sight gag.
