Man. I miss the Darkness. I’m tempted to find out what happened to them but I worry the phrase “heroin overdose” will feature prominently.

I worked the spotlights for a H.S. production of Grease. They were free-standing ones on a telescoping stand. I had failed to adequately tighten the collar on the stand, so during a rehearsal the stand collapsed/telescoped into itself while I was holding it, and the spotlight’s base caught my finger. S’okay homie. Stick around and have a refreshing beverage.

Just... click the link in his post, man. Come on.

Seconded. The vast majority of the time when I’m reading these sites I’m at work, or in some other non-video-conducive place. Plus, honestly, I also just don’t like watching videos for the most part. I prefer reading.

What does it doooooooooooooooo?

At least as of 2008, the Scion stock radios had a “secret” set of speaker settings that were pre-tuned to the different models available. If you navigated past the “Hear/Feel/Neutral” mixer options you got to the xA/xB/xD/tC pre-sets. I thought the xB sounded the most dope, even in my xD.

Google fails me... what does it do?

I am wracked with jealousy over this comment. Good work, sir. Good work.

“Bandit” is also in use in Yiddish, ranging from an actual criminal to the more lighthearted “rascal.” My parents use it for my kids when the kids are being mischievous. I haven’t watched the video but if the lady is part of Yiddish culture that could explain that. (In my family at least the emphasis is on the “dit”

This was actually done in late 1999. He just really believes in the power of positive thinking.
