Not at all unofficial - just Alpha rev. The SelfKang Sensation Alpha build is led by KMobs, one of the primary developers for CM. It's legit.

If you're in the sates, the HTC Sensation (Original Flavor?) is DC Snapdragon (I'm custom Kernel overclocked to 1.6Ghz, stock it.s 1.2Ghz) and while the screen is a bit taller, and goes edge to edge, the over all profile of the phone is not too far off iPhone 4 dimensions.
