@Winston Smith: Right, and what everyone one here is arguing is that if you make internet service a utility, then *at least* it's always a subway.

@Winston Smith: You and I both know exactly how disingenuous this argument is, sir.

@Winston Smith: Except that with utility companies, there is a regulated requirement to invest in the underlying infrastructure such that it will support both cold-shower Sally and hot-water Harry. Bandwidth is only as limited as back haul and packet-switching make it. Without a utility-like regulatory structure to

@RainyDayInterns: No. My solution is to do all of the above, AND flail here, and DKos, and Poltico, and the Thanksgiving dinner table, and at the TSA guy juggling my plums, and anywhere and everywhere I can.

@cormack: OK - lets take this one by one

@RainyDayInterns: You mean like GOTV efforts, working for political campaigns that have actual, real freedom as their central plank? Did us a hell of a lot of good against the Tea-baggers, didn't it?

@cormack: For a dude who just claimed the TSA excludes the possibility of terrorism, you sure have a lot of leg to stand on when it comes to calling other people's arguments "verging on stupid".

@pettiblay: "But have been too lazy to post in..."

@Hedgeworth: It's going to make other passengers speak up as well, if only to say "get rid of those things so I can get where I'm going!". More voices means more chance of change.

@You: Wrong.

@Richard Servello: Good luck using Google maps while you're on that phone call.

@ProsumeThis: The triggers are cantilevered at the hinge point just ahead of the buttons. you pull in like a trigger, lifting the actuator arm upwards, which them pushes the linked arm down and mashes the button.

@wilee: I see. the phrasing of your original comment led me to believe otherwise.

@wilee: You do realize that it's not a separate market, right? It's an aggregator, and as such is just presenting the information from the market in a different way. So the idea that it's full of "craptastic" apps when the market isn't is well...silly.
