One issue with DRG is that if you’re playing on easier difficulties, you get less intense waves, which is exactly the opposite of L4D 1 or 2. But as soon as you crank it up, you can be dropped by a few hits from the regular bugs if you’re not careful, which tend to spawn en masse, making it kinda steep for new players

This seems like wasted effort - the targets for the message lack the awareness or empathy to listen or change in any way, so why give them the time of day?

Parroting the MSM bullshit even though this information has been available for literally months? I can see where Kotaku’s loyalties lie. Just in case you have a shred of journalistic integrity left, here’s a question:

It would have been so ridiculously easy to handle this with more care. Seriously. Say nothing stupid about school shootings, don’t have edgy “jokes” and cringe voicelines, have female officers from day 1, aproach the subject matter with a little more distance (ie more clinically, less realism in some areas etc ) and

No one asked for everything bad to be scrubbed. Thats a strawman you just made up yourself.

Guy who is definitely well-read on the police state just jumpin’ in to tell you copaganda is cool and has nothing to do with the police violence I am upset with. Culture and media have zero impact on the “reality rotting around” us. Sounds good!!!

I’ve put lots of time into Hades and got the ending. However, the story and especially side stories didn’t pull me in much. The dialog was too long for the quality of writing and strength of story to carry. I’d read Disco Elysium immediately in book form. I wouldn't touch a Hades book with a stick.

The best story I experienced this year was from Outer Wild’s DLC, Echoes of the Eye.

And its usually by people who either don’t understand the harmful effects of discrimination, or generally don’t think it will ever hurt them.

Hence the “why can’t we let Nazis have their say.”  Because at the end of the day, they’re fairly certain that the Nazis aren’t coming after them.  So its not their problem.

There were quite a few managers that were hired because they were cigar smoking buddies. Had no clue what to actually do or how to manage people. I could talk those idiots under the table every time. But it's these idiots that create the dumb office politics.

It’s a cliche, but a cliche for a reason that the hard right assume everything is a battle in a culture war, because to them it is. The idea that respecting others is just basic human decency doesn’t register, because they see it as a zero sum game, if I am not able to put you down, then you must be pushing me

Sorry, but that’s complete bullshit.

But he was. And that wasn’t long time ago. It was friggin September. You sound like it was a decade ago. Thats not the case. And he didn’t work there for some months but over 23 years.

It looks like it wasn’t even a big secret what he does. Still they kept him for years and as I understand it even protected - it looks

Pretty much everything you said. I think a lot of these people are insecure, and by gatekeeping people who look or think differently, they don’t have to deal with “competition” (even if these potential coworkers aren’t necessarily competing with them, they’re working alongside them instead).

It’s a common stance of white men (at least conservative ones), they have spent hundreds of years on top of the food chain and the prospect that there is more competition/level playing field (it wouldn’t be) is considered harmful to them. They forget a very simple truth, while the views have modernized, it’s still

a guy that used to call himself “shlonglor” turns out to be an immature asshole? I’m shocked.

Eh, it’s the same old “of course what he said is terrible but isn’t the real terrible thing policing language?” slippery-slope saw.

The abhorent sexism and racism speaks for itself, but what I found most interesting about the linked Discord was the awful assumption that workplace culture “belongs” to him. It’s a cliche, but a cliche for a reason that the hard right assume everything is a battle in a culture war, because to them it is. The idea

I mean, it really only happens in a single country in the world so I would pump the brakes on the “we” part there.

Seems weird to make an article specifically aimed at halo here but alright. There are always going to be assholes in games that weigh you against other people, especially ones where you choose to participate in mic communication. I turn off every chat function I can in games where I have to play with randos. Very
