It probably is a child, which is a huge part of the problem.

VR porn aside (because... why?), this is the attitude that makes me not like Apple. They just fundamentally don’t think that the devices you buy are really yours. They still see them as extensions of their own marketing.
If the only good thing about a game is the cut scenes, it should be a TV show or a movie, not a game. I say this as someone that really prefers a game have good story/lore, as I want to be invested in what’s happening. On the other side of the coin, though, if it’s a boring slog to get from one bit of story to the…
i am genuinely excited for ‘Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League: All Cutscenes 4K’ on youtube.
Much like other topic, you’re really gonna wanna disable comments on this. Chuds gonna chud.
Cops don’t want to take on a guy like that, he’s scary! What if they got hurt? It’s just easier to pull over some people for speeding at night and threatening them.
Seeing all the “yeah, makes total sense, why *wouldn’t* you upend all existing subscription policy in order to milk every sale from a purchased property?” comments just makes me a thousand times more confident that my predicitions Microsoft and Activision will do the exact same style thing when their deal goes…
“But he made millions!”
“He should have known!”
“He’s ungrateful!”
Part of it is definitely the game mechanics, I was a teenager when I first played the first game and I just could not do it. The RTS mechanics were too much and, in my 30s, I’m still intimidated by them. It was overwhelming, but meanwhile I had no problem playing the new Zelda or Mario (or Final Fantasy or several…
People interested in RTS games are likely to either be PC gamers, or Mobile gamers, and neither are likely to be interested in a console with low specs, paired with high game prices.
This game doesnt sell, yet not selling is why they wont make a new Fzero. A new Fzero would sell better than 2M copies. But Miyamoto likes Pikmin, so we get pikmin.
I think the main problem is that you have a weird looking game (every trailer looks bizarre to the general audience rather than gamers) that is also an RTS. something that is widely considered a negative on consoles due to controllers simply not having good attributes for RTS control. Outside of Starcraft N64, Brutal…
I’ve been playing almost nothing but SF6 since it launched. I logged about 200 hours for all my time in SFV, and I already have almost 100 in SF6. It is the greatest fighting game ever made.
Gamers: there’s no originality, there’s no quality games, everything is a broken mess.
“They’re like 8 foot, 9 feet, 10 foot. They look like aliens to us. Big eyes. They have big eyes.”
It’s really disappointing the people writing these think pieces aren’t paying attention to the things they’re thinking about.
I was a bit worried his rebellion was just lipservice and he’d toe the party line of the Spider Society and I’m so glad I was wrong. Hobie fucking ruled. I love how much of an instigator he was for Miles’s story.
Hobie might have been the person to assemble the new Spider-watch Gwen would use to gather a team of Spider-people to save Miles.
Something I really appreciated that this doesn’t touch on is how it eschews the obligatory antagonism between him and Miles over the potential love triangle. Miles starts out a little pressed but Hobie is simply too cool for it to faze him, and that ease pretty quickly gets the better of Miles as well.
The never-learned lesson from publishers that making games isn’t easy, regardless of the name of the studio doing it.
