Yeah that’s what made Control so great for me as well. I would walk into every sector and think “Omg, I want to hear about every story and case file involving this place. Arr! The stories still leave so much to the imagination, I hate and love it.”. I want all the answers but I know that I really don’t want all the

Check out one of the tips and tricks for Control guides. There are a few sets of powers you should focus on that make the combat into a cake walk eventually.

I had the same feeling then read a guide when I couldn’t find a power that I should have gotten early in the game but I skipped the side quest for.

Ha, yeah I imagine them more like this:

Ah, that makes sense. I think I’ve mostly played with the weather set on Clear Skies and probably just never noticed when it happened.

I’m pretty sure the game simulates crosswinds but I haven’t noticed it simulate turbulence. Just loaded it up in a small plane and had zero visibility, some rain but no turbulence. Taking forever for me to get above the clouds though.

Hmm, feels like they took the looter shooter formula and shoved it into the world and art style of the Arkham series. Not what I want but I’m sure there’s an audience for this.

Yeah after this long I can’t imagine it’s the quality of the work that was the problem. Quality doesn’t suddenly dip into fire-able territory after so many years on the project. Sounds more like new-managment wanted to take things a different direction and dropping this key member was easier than slowly fighting to

After a little time waiting for this, I’m mostly mad about hearing that damn background music. Now I’ve had to hear it for way too long before I get to have any fun.

Same, and for a small glimmer of time Overwatch was sort of a bastion while the most angry and blatant racists had bigger games to troll. I still feel it was when Overwatch wanted some of that sweet competitive and e-sports money that things changed. Then when that wasn’t making tons of money and the monetization got

Whew, my girlfriend isn’t a fan of onions so I started leaving them out of recipes. Looks like her pickiness has paid off for me once again.

Nice! I’m down for this...but I don’t have a Game Genie anymore so they better make the game not impossible to complete by a lay person.

Lately I drop all my games to the easiest difficulty just because my time is in short supply and I can’t risk wasting it on damage sponges or frustratingly difficult parts of a game. I used to always play on Normal or a harder mode back when games would lock the “true” ending behind harder difficulty settings. Luckily

I have similar feelings, this what they mean when they say you only get one chance at a first impression. I refunded the game back in the day so I would also have to jump the extra hurdle of buying it again just to give it another shot

This is a great idea. I’ve definitely worked in conditions where I thought “Damn I need a therapist to talk to about all this shit”. So it’s nice to see someone create a service focused towards the gaming community.

I always imagined that if I ever found a therapist I would spend the first few sessions just explaining

Eventually all these battle royales will realize Fortnite took off because everything else around the ‘game’. The costumes, dances, side missions, overbearing monetization and social pressure to look cool. I see none of that here. If only one person can win, you really gotta give the other people something interesting

I’m still so confused on the game design goals for the game.

The arena is huge and yet almost all the characters are boring to move around with or limited in using the fun movement abilities. The fact that they didn’t address that before release doesn’t lead me to believe they’ll be able to fix any of the more nuanced

I guess Epic finally got tired of all the jokes about them still being in beta.

...also very said Save the World mode isn’t going free to play like they initially said.

Sounds like a really cool idea, but I imagine they’ll pick songs that I don’t want to hear ad nauseam even if I’m doing the mixing. It’s not entirely their fault though, I’ve listened to the same 6 albums for like the last 5 years because I avoid the radio friendly mainstream pop hits that games like this need to

Loved reading that breakdown of what’s wrong with dating apps. I really feel like those issues could be solved. I tried starting a dating app to fix those issues, then realized it takes a shit ton of money to get a dating app off the ground.

So are we ever going to get a review that isn’t held back by embargo rules and just gives a full opinion in regards to everything? Or would this review get updated or anything?
