It seems like a lot of people completely understand why these terms could be problematic but changing them just isn’t that important to them. They’d rather laugh at it and then blame everyone else for seeing a problem with the terms.

I actually liked NASCAR as a kid, just from playing all the videogames and arcade games. I think once I was old enough to understand the people and culture of NASCAR I decided to leave it behind, but hey if NASCAR wants to catch up with the world I just might get back into it.

It’s my first summer in the Pacific Northwest after spending the last 10 in Texas. It’s very confusing...is it summer, is it fall, is it Spring?!? I’d grown so used to scorching heat and an unbearable amount of direct sunlight but now it’s all turned upside down.

No reason just what I thought they might do. Feels like some game companies are willing to let cheaters back in if it’ll help their player numbers or add to their loot box purchases.

When they say ‘isolated’ I assume they mean stuck in isolation with a few other people. I feel like being isolated alone wouldn’t be great but doable. Isolated with 1-3 other people and we’d probably be on the edge of killing each other.

I’ve never hacked in an online game but this was the first thing that came to mind, “Oh cool I can hack in GTA Online and not care about being banned”.
I imagine this will be a long term problem for GTA, hackers aren’t going to run through all of their free versions that fast.

Same here, after a few cases of Steam denying me a refund for games that were broken or another case where the game was barely playable. After those instances I’ve been very eager for a Steam replacement.

Steam’s refund policy includes a similar provision. As you can probably tell by the text of the email Boggs shared, however, the Epic Games Store now appears to fully automate this process.

This is interesting, I’ve felt like Fortnite’s popularity was largely due to kids using it as a big chat room with costumes and guns. I’m curious to see if having a mode that removes the guns eats into their Battle Royale playerbase much.

I swear the version of these guys in my game seem way way more frantic than any videos I see. On my computer he’s teleporting every like quarter of a second, teleports too close, smacks me in the face, then teleports too far and fires a ranged attack before then teleporting behind me. They’re infuriating.
