Fortnite: the gift that keeps on giving
Fortnite: the gift that keeps on giving
Lemmings was pretty over-the-top ;)
Tim Rogers looks like a leather muppet.
It will be 100. Anything less would look unimpressive compared to Fortnite or PUBG. Anything more would just be excessive and likely take away from the experience (plus be an unnecessary tax on the game’s servers and waiting ques). 100 is the industry standard. No reason for them to change that, especially where…
If No Man’s Sky because free-to-play (or cheap-to-play) with optional skins etc. that did not give players advantage, it would give the developer more of an incentive for post-release content. The reality is that a developer only has a finite amount of time that it is worthwhile for them to support a title…
I gotta wonder the profit they expect to gain from this... Two years out is a long time to be investing so heavily into a game that was hyped then tanked. Sure, people who bought the game way back when will be pleased to see this, but how many people will jump back in (in a game, mind you, that doesn’t have…
Not sure if you got the joke — be sure to read the name of the person who killed him
The “Horde Mode” of 2018...
Ninja is a class-act guy who is doing the right thing for the right reasons. Unlike the grand majority of successful streamers, Blevins understands the weight and impact of his conduct and wields his fame respectfully.
FYI: First event led to a $1.5mil class action settlement.
Nope, just a lucky stream sniper who qued at the same time as DrDisrespect in the hopes of hunting him down like he did here... twice. After this second time, DrDisrespect turned on “streamer mode,” which censors enemy player names (and thus robs them of the satisfaction of seeing their avatar name on stream)
For the win:
Came for the review, stayed for the 10 minute story about an old shirt.
Even with all the changes, Fortnite stays Fortnite. The best players (eg. Ninja) stay the best players even with the changes from week-to-week. This type of game suits itself more for low-stakes tournaments, like the one that Ninja hosted a couple weeks ago. After all, each match has 100 people competing against each…
Lawyer here. Mirroring the sentiments of the above: It’s really, really weird to have more than 2 phones. I used to have 2 phones (1 for work, 1 for personal) but even that became burdensome / redundant so I went back to 1.
The whole concept of a “meta” is the kind of thing that makes games stale and lose their intrigue. Fortnite has done a good job shaking things up often enough to keep experimentation alive from match-to-match, and I think that’s why it’s staying so relevant as a game
This game is such a good example of a game embracing its own game-y-ness and being way better for it. Fortnite feels like a Nintendo game in some ways, in that it’s cartoony and doesn’t take itself seriously but yet can be very challenging to master. Boogy bombs, rocket riding, hidden garden gnomes, and taking the L…
I wouldn’t say that at all. I really enjoy it, when it’s at its best at least. I would instead say there’s a huge emphasis right now on dishing out draconian punishment upon any players who step even an inch out of line. The goal is to legitimize e-sports as an actual pseudo-sport, but the result in cases like this is…
Overwatch League has more drama over petty sh** than a high school cheerleading team
Yaaaaaas to all of this
