Unless I missed in the article, some context might be helpful. Is 100,000 a lot? It sounds like a lot, but I thought he had millions of followers so from that standpoint it doesn’t sound like much. What did he get on other platforms?

“But muh games!”
Go fuck yourself.
Due to disability I have an ad-hoc setup somewhat similar to this, facilitated mostly by a hospital bed provided by my local health service (thank you, European healtchare). I don’t dress like a ninja before I use it though.
Non-Japanese fans of Japanese game: We are mad that a character from said Japanese game appears a slightly different shade of color in Japanese cartoon series based on same Japanese game!
The stereotype of these particular gay men doesn’t bug me all that much. Yes it’s an old trope, but played for laughs it can still be quite funny. I don’t feel represented (I’m gay, but don’t identify with this overly flowery behavior) but I also don’t feel offended when I see this stereotype. See Bolson in Breath of…
Not at all. Just like every game in the series, the movie is stand-alone.
I am so over the whole concept of “games as service.”
Maybe inappropriate, yet I can’t help but think of this, and Dumbledore’s words of wisdom to Harry: “This mirror gives us neither knowledge or truth. Men have wasted away in front of it, even gone mad.”
This will just make things worse, right?
You’d think Netflix would just integrate commentary into their service.
stop misusing the censorfish Mike, it’s not an arrow. I thought that guy went on stage with another kind of pocket monster for a moment there...
You know, one day Tecent is gonna knock on my email door asking to purchase my company.
I like the character, HATE the song. I dont understand why they made his songs so uncomfortably modern. Super cringe.
I’m pretty sure that’s the popular opinion. I was appalled by many of the choices made for that show (which I’ve waited ages for, far before it was ever announced) and Jaskier and his music is right up there in the top 10 worst moments.
Second
It’s a terrible song. I commented on this on another article by kotaku. But we live in a world where “let it go” went viral, so I shouldn’t be surprised. It’s just incredibly cringeworthy. I like Geralt’s annoyance at it, because it is annoying but then he keeps bloody singing it and then they finish the second…
Definitely intentional, they made multiplayer more casual friendly by removing the death count so new players can’t be mocked over chat for their KDR. This is Activision double-dipping by selling the feature back to the hardcore players.
I’m always so bewildered by the payout rates that YouTube will give to people. $20k to $30k a month to post a video of compiled clips of a Twitch streamer. That’s insane. It also makes me think that people shouldn’t be getting paid that much. There honestly should be a salary cap for that kind of stuff.
I like to think that one of the cool things about Kotaku is that you can come here for more information than you’ll get from a publisher’s press release. This is a good example of that. It’s not necessarily controversial or explosive info — it’s just context that you won’t find anywhere else.
