Teemo’s shroom duration nerf (10 minutes —> 5 minutes) was sufficient to make him less toxic. Now he isn’t that bad at all, especially with the other changes they made to him to make him more useful in team fights.

Right. There’s nothing tasteful or important about this being in the game, presented in such an awkward and graphic fashion. It’s just pornography — for the sake of pornography — presented in robotic, wonky form.

Looks like a great game for space camp kiddies.

Even in their DOTA 1 form, Techies have always been a toxic, broken champion that:
1.) acts as a global aggro with limited counterplay that makes Teemo look non-toxic, and
2.) renders the rest of your team feeling like they’re playing 4v5.

LoL and Hearthstone, what else

If it’s reason #3, I am sure Valve does care quite a bit. Particularly since its biggest rival, League of Legends, appears to be gaining steam if anything—though that too is hard to tell, since Riot does not reveal its play data as regularly as Valve
