I would agree, but ignorance implies a lack of information. The tools in the West Wing have access to more information than any human being can absorb; they choose to willfully ignore it in favor of their grievous misconceptions and flawed world view.

I always tell people who get worked up about slights from others, “Don’t attribute to malice what could be explained by simple incompetence”. Your assessment of this administration operating in both modes at the same time is completely correct.

While I enjoy these in the same vein in which I enjoy other fancy food porn, and would definitely like to partake in destroying one before passing out in a blissful haze of lactose joy, my snarky side wants to contribute the only cheese plate guidance most of us will ever truly need or use:

I use rapid rise because you don’t have to bloom it. Yeast, flour, water, and salt go into the bowl; mix by hand, cover and let rise for 12 hours or so, punch down, roll, top, and bake.
