Perhaps it's semantics... but what I understood was, choose a number that ends with less zeros to negotiate. If ending in 000, you're likely to negotiate in 1,000 increments, which usually you will lose. If ending in 00, you're likely to negotiate in 100s and higher chance to win.

This thing reminds me of a fold out ironing board. I personally would be more worried about that desk being a lever to tip that shelf onto me while I worked rather than space, but I guess it depends on the project.

I'm with you on that.

In my opinion, another questions worth asking is "When is it appropriate to use the Emergency Fund?" I feel this is more important to ask before determining the 3-6 months figure of how much to save.

I've had success with bag balm too.

Hmm... I'd call it the "Oh". Because after the first bit, there wasn't N E thing to care about.

The version I eat has kidney beans + chick peas + canned mushrooms. It might be considered heresy...

That clarifies a lot. Thanks.

Where does sloppy joes sit in this? I've always assumed chili had beans and the non-bean version was a variation of sloppy joes.

I also tell my mom the following: "I don't actually know sometimes, I just make a logical guess." I essentially forced my mom to try clicking things (which many older individuals seem to be afraid of). It was frustrating for the first bit with all the "Do I click this or that?" comments but after a while, "Just try

Awesome. Sometimes the little things in life are just so enjoyable. Great stories to chat about too. I wish you happy hunting and luck to go with it. :)

That's true as well. I generally only plug in items with lower power consumption such as multiple phones + electric razor + laptop and have never shorted anything out or started a fire. (Generally can only find 1-2 free outlets at any given location when not in a hotel) I have noticed the plugs do get quite warm at

I like #4.

When visiting somewhere that uses a different style of electric outlet, bring along a multi outlet power bar or similar device to attach to the adapter. No need for multiple adapters for your corded devices like laptops and razors etc. but mainly saves you from being unable to charge your device because friend took

$1.50 a week in elementary school. Just barely enough for 2 chocolate/candy bars at the time. If I got $5 for a birthday/Christmas, that was great. I wanted roller blades at the time, I recall saving up for almost 4-5 months to obtain them. It really taught me the value of money and I rarely bought things I couldn't

Perhaps I'm missing something there. I've owned Sennheiser 280 pro (since '08), I currently use a set of Sennheiser HD555 ('09) at work, at home I have a set of Beyerdynamic DT770pro ('11) and I purchased a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50 ('11) for my brother (to get him to get away from beats which were giving him

Was I the only one who had a bit of N64 Goldeneye nostalgia when the guy ran over and shoved him at the end?

If I recall correctly, flipping jeans inside out prior to washing also helps to slow the fading. I also agree on the use of dark woolite detergent.

Things I've noted in college/university...

I'm not sure about scraping ice, but I can vouch it is by far the best for scraping frost off a windshield if you don't have a scraper in your car. That being said, any plastic card work as long as it's not too flimsy, but I personally avoid the use of any card with a magnetic stripe such as a bank card or credit
