This Jon Stewart quote is now all I think of when I hear his name: "I gotta say, if the tone you were goin' for there is "angry drunk guy," you nailed it. … I'm beginning to think this guy's name isn't Rience Priebus, it's Ryan Peterson and he's always too fucked up when he says it to people."

I think it's really sad that I'm the second person to agree with your comment, but there it is. I stumbled home from the fraternity row many times, but the time I was raped was when I took the safe route and chose to stay the night with a trustworthy guy friend. The friend did end up being trustworthy, but his friend,

I'm with you. Lots of people complain about ATL but I think it's one of the better ones. All the concourses are the same, gate A21 is in the same place as B21 (relatively). I swear I've been to other airports where you have to walk through E to get from B to D. No sense!

Gah, I should remember to RTFA.

I don't claim to understand the Argentinean penal system, but a guy who definitely killed one young woman and probably killed another young woman, is having unsupervised visits with young women? That doesn't seem that great of an idea.

My husband bakes much better cookies than I do. He is far more precise - an important quality for baking. But neither of us would be likely to be elected president so it's kind of a moot point.

My son was not quite an octopus-level squirmer, but he did have the habit of unlatching very suddenly in public to look around, leaving my whole breast exposed. Like you, I have a mom friend who nurses in public all the time, very cool about it. I did it sometimes, if t would have been very inconvenient to find a

Huh, I thought I was doing pretty well with child care costs at 1/3 of my income. 1/4 would be pretty sweet among my group of friends. I definitely know women who earn less than twice the cost of child care.

Wow, great story, and I learned something! There is a student at the school where I work, a young lady with a fairly significant amount of facial hair. I've seen her several times around campus lately. I didn't make fun of her or anything, but I did wonder why she didn't have it removed somehow. She does look South

Whoa. We spent something like $500, if I recall correctly. And our budget for the whole wedding was $17,000. Like I said, I really don't care about flowers. We did go with a guy whose florist gig was kind of a side job. He didn't have an office or anything, he was just a friend of a friend who was good at arranging

Not everyone can do this but I like to blame my husband for our budget. As in, "oh, the husband says we've already overspent our restaurant budget this month." Sometimes I feel a little anti-feminist by implying that he completely controls the money in our house, but oh well. At least we stay in our budget.

If you haven't chosen a dress yet, look into having one made by a seamstress. I really didn't want a satin dress and that was all I could find in my (seemingly reasonable) budget of about $700. I got a seamstress to make me a gorgeous dress out of shantung silk for about that price.

They took that thing off our playground when I was in kindergarten, because one of the kids in my class fell from the top of it and broke his arm. So I guess I just barely missed the fun. (And the danger) The playgrounds I go to now with my son seem to have a lot of climbing walls, which seem just as dangerous.

This reminds me of a bumper sticker I used to see repeatedly in my neighborhood. "Thank God Mom was pro-life!" Why, because she was forced to carry you to term? My mom was (and is) pro-choice, thanks, and she chose to have me.

This isn't at all related to wifi, which works fine for me. But since I updated, I haven't been able to use the apostrophe shortcut I used to use all the time (hold down the comma/! key). Now when I do that, it just gives me a comma. Has anyone else noticed this?

I was on the Pill for 12 years before trying to get pregnant. I wasn't in sexual relationships that whole time, but for many of those years. When I stopped taking the pill, there was some doubt in my mind, like, if I could get pregnant easily, wouldn't it have happened sometime in the last 12 years? I mean, I wasn't

I think it's because he's on 2 1/2 Men.

I'm less concerned about why he thinks 96% of the country is middle-income, than I am with how he thinks he can cut taxes for 100% of the people and also balance the budget.

Breastfeeding has not been the most fun experience for me, but I've liked it more as time went on. Now that my son is 14 months, I only nurse twice a day, and it's so much more relaxing now that I know it's not his only source of nutrition. I didn't have a pre-planned time to stop, just wanted to make it to 1, but I

Zygotes are people, my friend.
