But but... It's Will and Amy! Sure, other celeb couples, who cares, but this is Will & Amy! They're awesome. And now Will is probably going to be spotted with somebody lame like Blake Lively and totally lower my opinion of him.

It's important to have even-handed political coverage. If one person's place of residence is misspelled, everyone's must be!

My husband and I have a continuing discussion about this. He says we should just let them go extinct. I say that perhaps their cuteness is an evolutionary ploy to make humans help them stay alive.

Looks like they have 2 locations? http://mchalesirishpub.com/fortmill/index.php

I'm no EC'er, but baby's bottoms are adorable!

I always get her & Anna Faris confused, so when I skimmed this post I thought she was talking about labor. Seemed about right. I do remember having a breakup like that, when I was about 19. I guess she's not that much older than that, so I can understand it.

That's understandable. It's true that on my son's first day, I had only visited with the daycare employees for a few hours. But a month later, when my asshole coworker said, "oh it's so sad that you don't have family in town, I don't know how you can leave your child with strangers." I felt pretty comfortable saying,

Just FYI, the whole "entrusting your child to strangers" phrase is really grating to most working moms. Once you meet them, they're not strangers. Our daycare teachers have known my son for almost a year and they clearly adore him.

I think it's just the women you know! I have a 14 month and I work, and I like it. It helps that I'm in a job that I love, and which doesn't keep me there for crazy hours (I'm a librarian). Most of my friends are working moms too, and the majority are pretty happy. Busy and frazzled sometimes, but happy.

Totally agree. It's awesome when you somehow get it for free, but as awesome as it is, it's still not worth the price. I'll sit in steerage and spend the extra money on awesome food and experiences on the ground, thanks.

I have a Logitech keyboard that seems to have the same layout as this one, and the function key is indeed between the Alt & Ctrl keys.

I remember when I was pregnant, I resolved that when I was a mom I would never do that thing where I giggled patronizingly at expectant mothers' plans. This may be the first time I've broken that pledge. Nap schedules, tee hee.

x

Okay. I'm just saying, my son will sometimes take a late nap, and still sleep fine at night. If we wake him up early we just have a cranky guy on our hands til bedtime.

That's the age my son started laughing at us when we scolded him. 'No touch!' hahaha....:touch: I think he knows what he's doing.

Never wake a napping baby!

I like to think the guy friends were quoting Maeby Funke.

Agreed. I've never been able to fall asleep easily, but when my son was a newborn I could conk out the second he was asleep. That's what never getting more than 2 hours of sleep in a row will do to you.

Dur. Of course the argument could go the opposite way - companies would prefer not to hire women (discrimination!) therefore women are forced to accept lower wages just to get hired (wage gap!).

Whenever I complained about not getting Lunchables, my mom would pack me ham, cheese and crackers in individual containers (repurposed margarine containers, actually). SO not the same, but I now see her point - cheaper, and less sodium. And now that I have a child I'm impressed by her being nice enough to slice the
