This is me right now.

A groomsman fainted at a wedding I was in. Apparently he was training for a marathon and ran like 15 miles that morning, and it was an interfaith ceremony, so two ministers. Luckily his dad and brother were in the front row (he was the cousin of the groom) so they caught him and carried him out, then the brother

At least at the university I work at, those are paid for by grants, and when the money runs out, so do the condoms. My friend who works in that department is often able to get some donated, but it's an ongoing chore.

Yep, it's for the next plan year. Sorry about that! I have to wait til January 1.

Nope, the airlines don't like you to fly past about 35 weeks or so, but that's just because they don't want to have to reroute the plane if you go into labor. It depends on the airline how late they'll let you fly, but none are as early as 6 months.

I'm considering adopting the strategy of donating an equivalent amount to an equal rights organization anytime I go. It'll make me feel better, and also have the effect of making Chick fil-A more expensive for me, so I might be more likely to consider other options.

McDonalds had the Southern Chicken sandwich for awhile (don't know if they still do). I thought it might be the solution to the No Chick fil A on Sunday problem, but it was just not the same. Must be something about right wing Christians and peanut oil that just can't be replicated.

I know, they're about to open one half a block from my office. I love Chick fil-A food, and I've thus far held back on boycotting them. This might be the final straw for me, but they're the best fast food out there! :SIGH:

Is the answer, "answer"?

"There's a colored man in my kitchen!" "What color was he, exactly?" "Blue"

Huh. This is who I see in that sketch.

I came back from Italy with a huge bottle of truffle oil that I fell in LOVE with at a wine tasting. Turns out it was the wine I loved so much, that truffle oil is way overpowering if you're not very tipsy, apparently.

Changing your diet or really ramping up an exercise routine can mess with your milk supply, so that's definitely one reason not to. That's what I keep telling myself, anyway (1 year after baby....)

It's also good news for boobs, which will continue to be provided a place to pump breastmilk in the workplace!

I definitely think you're in the right frame of mind for it. I do think you still have time to get a lot out of Hypnobabies. I'm pretty sure I started classes at 30 weeks. It's only 5 weeks of study, then maintenance after that.

This is a central basis for most childbirth classes, especially Hypnobabies, which is what I used. It makes sense - if you don't feel safe, your body should probably hold back on delivering until you're in a safe place. While this study is interesting, it's only confirming what Grantley Dick-Read wrote about in
