I don't think you can make clay look like the tops of those strawberries.

That GT article was where I first read about this and I also remember the BAHAHAing over this woman missing her flight, getting more upset, etc. I thought I'd accidentally clicked into the comments section on CNN or something.

I just showed this vid to my dog, hoping he'd get inspired and decide to pitch in with the housework.

They're burning up irreplaceable fossil fuel and contributing to global warming and they're giving YOU dirty looks? Holy shit, what terminal assholes.

When I read that, I had a brief flash of "oh good, this is just an Onion article" ... but apparently not.

Wow, that is exactly what my kids look like when they fight!

Lime skittles were my absolutely favorite! I would eat those and give my daughter the rest.

Yup! Neither one of my Tzus have ever been sorry for anything in their entire lives (lives that have been filled to the brim with naughtiness.)

It looks like quite a few people attended her party, and people of varying ages, too — I can't believe that none of them told her what an incredibly BAD IDEA this was.

Just the other day, someone rather proudly announced that they didn't know how to do some basic thing... and my six-year-old sighed, rolled her eyes, and told them "JUST WATCH THE YOUTUBE VIDEO SHEESH."

Especially when the target of her bullying KILLED HERSELF. What's not to understand?

I'm really creeped out by the shot of the plastic-covered chairs around his dining table. Girls — if a dude has any of his furniture covered in plastic, RUN.

Amazing!

Same. :) I learned about rimming along with Justin.

This is non-negotiable. No exchanges, no refunds, no blood for oil. It's one of those self-evident truths for which the cliche "it goes without saying" actually makes a kernel of sense, because I really didn't need to say it; we've both known it for years.

Life is just going to feel a little emptier without it, huh? :|

She pointed out that since she was on probation, she also would have gone to jail if she had pressed charges. A pretty good reason to hesitate.

Ugh. I read an excellent article a few years ago saying that the majority of harm done to babies whose mothers used drugs while pregnant was the result of her lifestyle, not the drug itself. Poor diet, little or no neo-natal care, inadequate sleep, etc. This bill would take all of that and make it much worse.

Fully half the girls in my six-year-old daughter's class are named Sophia, Emma, Ava, or Grace. She feels left out because her name is an "only."

At the moment, I knew what privilege was: Making sure everyone has a place at the table.
