I can’t point to what I liked about the book trilogy ... in fact, I can find a whole lot more that I objectively didn’t like.

I’d not seen that elsewhere. Thank you.

I don’t like what these athletes are doing, but isn’t that the whole point?

Is this locked to the 6s and newer? It doesn’t seem to be working on my 6 Plus.

I do have one pair of wired headphones I use on a regular basis, so fortunately for me, the adapter will just stay attached to them.

They did not give me that option at the time, even though I requested it. I think they would have if they didn’t eventually find me a phone (though not quickly enough for my tastes).

For all I know, they had a bad week. But it was bad timing for me, and I know AppleCare will manage that better.

The major difference between SquareTrade and Apple for me, beyond the exact numbers, is that if SquareTrade doesn’t have your replacement phone in stock, you could be stuck for a couple of days. I was without a phone for almost a week after needing a replacement under SquareTrade recently. I’m going back to AppleCare.

If I get the 10 gig plan (which covers my monthly 8 gigs) it actually washes. Beyond that, I’m not sure.

Interesting. I hadn’t heard that. My contract ends on the 12th, so I guess I’ll find out soon.

I’m getting one from Apple via the iPhone Upgrade Program, taking the sim out of my iPhone 6 and putting into the 7. I really don’t think/hope it will be any more difficult than that.

They’re moving slowly there, else they wouldn’t still be including a wired headset.

It will be really easy to keep it attached to the one pair of wired headphones I still use.

A whole lot more logical than the acquisition of “paid damage control” above.

This is paid damage control. Frankly disgusting.

Well, you’re paying for the piece of mind, but if you’re careful, then yeah.

I doubt those users are the types to upgrade their equipment frequently, right? And those adapters are relatively inexpensive (and probably are broken/replaced much more frequently than the phones/iPads they’re used on), and they’d all work with the adapter that comes in the box.

The bluetooth-based Beats headphones will work with the 7 out of the box with no need for a firmware update?

To be fair, Apple didn’t do it first. The Moto X (I believe) has been out for a month and a half.

In the box are lightening AirPods. The bluetooth ones are a separate purchase if you want them. Options, sir :)
